Canva Office Transformation At Hoxton Square

When Canva, the innovative Australian multinational graphic design platform, decided to expand its presence in London, they turned to Buildgen to transform two buildings on Hoxton Square into a large, dynamic office space. After a competitive tendering process, we were thrilled to win the bid and get to work on this exciting three-phase project.

The project involved significant structural modifications to seamlessly connect the two adjacent buildings, creating a unified, open environment for Canva’s team. One of the key features of the project was the installation of a new lift, ensuring a fully DDA-accessible workspace for all staff.

The scope of work also included the creation of new collaborative meeting rooms, an industrial-grade kitchen, and versatile event spaces throughout the building. These spaces were designed with creativity and flexibility in mind, reflecting Canva’s dynamic company culture.

Throughout the project, Buildgen worked closely with Canva to ensure that the final result not only met their functional requirements but also aligned with their vision for a modern, inspiring workspace. We’re proud to have been part of transforming this space into a place where innovation and collaboration can thrive.
