Creating A Seamless Office Above Cannon Street Station

When we were tasked with designing a new office space for our client above Cannon Street Station, the challenge was clear: how could we create a modern, flexible workspace while working with the building’s unique structural features, including the internal steel supports that were essential to the building's stability?

Our team at Buildgen embraced the challenge, proposing a design that worked harmoniously with these steel elements. We came up with smart, innovative solutions to integrate the steel supports into the office layout, making them an integral part of the design rather than something to work around.

The result was a seamless design that felt like part of the building’s fabric – a vibrant, high-end space that included exposed ceiling mechanical and electrical services for an industrial yet polished look. The space was perfectly suited to the fast-paced, growing team, with a large Millennial demographic that thrives on agile working and collaboration.

We’re proud of how we were able to create an inspiring office environment that’s not only functional but also reflects the energy and dynamism of the team. It’s the perfect space for collaboration, creativity, and growth.
